Terrabean is a purpose-driven digital agri-commerce and marketing platform built to create meaningful connections between discerning consumers and resilient farming communities. Rooted in deep field experience and guided by a clear philosophy, Terrabean stands by a simple yet powerful belief:

At its core, Terrabean exists to champion seed savers and farmers—the true custodians of biodiversity—by enabling ethical market access, digital visibility, and long-term value creation.
Founded by Praveen Narasingamurthy, Terrabean is shaped by over a decade of immersion in India’s seed conservation and farmer-led movements. Inspired by the tireless efforts to protect traditional, desi, and heirloom seed diversity, his journey reflects a commitment to building institutions that honour ecological integrity while embracing modern market systems.
His formative experience with Sahaja Samrudha, Bengaluru, provided exposure to national and international seed initiatives, campaigns, and knowledge exchanges. In 2013, he played a pivotal role in establishing India’s first farmer-owned Desi Seed Producer Company Ltd., contributing to the growth and positioning of Sahaja Seeds®, a registered brand headquartered in Mysuru. His leadership approach values collaboration, resilience, and thoughtful change.
Praveen’s work spans deep engagement with farmer collectives across Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal, and trusted partnerships with individual farmers and seed custodians across multiple Indian states. Through innovative digital storytelling and market strategies, he has enabled heirloom seeds and naturally grown produce to reach conscious markets with authenticity and transparency.
Today, Terrabean delivers integrated solutions across seed banking, natural produce marketing, digital branding, website development, and agri-enterprise building. We partner with farmers, agripreneurs, and farmer producer companies to build trusted brands that strengthen livelihoods and preserve the foundations of sustainable food systems.
